2. Order and agreement

When you place an item in the website's shopping cart and complete the payment, you enter into an agreement with Annika Gustavsson Jewelry AB. The agreement is considered fulfilled when an order confirmation has been sent.
Always check the quantity, size, and delivery address before completing the purchase. After completing the order, you will receive an order confirmation via email; contact us if something is incorrect. If your order does not go through technically via our payment options, please contact us and we will help you further.


2.1 "Agreement" means these Terms of Use and Sale.

2.2 "Order" means any order placed by Customers on the website.

2.3 "Annika Gustavsson Jewelry" means Annika Gustavsson Jewelry AB, org. no. 559045-5126, Box 2052, 621 56 Visby, which is the supplier of the products provided on the website.

2.4 "Customer" means the party ordering products on the Website.
To shop with us, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent.
The Customer is responsible for and guarantees that the information provided is correct and current.

2.5 "Product(s)" means the products provided for sale on the website and delivered by Annika Gustavsson Jewelry.

All goods remain the property of Annika Gustavsson Jewelry until full payment has been received by the company.

Annika Gustavsson Jewelry AB reserves the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected.

3. Prices, payment and VAT


All payments are handled via secure payment solutions and encrypted connections.
For more detailed information and terms for each payment solution, please refer to the provider of the respective payment solution.

Within Sweden

Currency & VAT: All prices are stated in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and include 25% VAT.

Payment methods: We accept card payments (Visa/Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay), Apple Pay, GooglePay, Swish, and invoice or partial payment via Klarna.

Shipping costs: When purchasing in our webshop, you choose the shipping option yourself, and any shipping cost is automatically added at checkout.

Within the EU

Currency & VAT: The price shown depends on your chosen currency and includes any VAT based on the country to which the product will be delivered. VAT is charged according to the tax rate applicable at the time of order.

Payment methods: We accept card payments (Visa/Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay), Apple Pay, GooglePay, Swish (Sweden), and invoice or partial payment via Klarna.

Shipping costs: When purchasing in our webshop, you choose the shipping option yourself, and any shipping cost is automatically added at checkout.

Outside the EU

Currency & VAT: The price shown depends on your chosen currency. When ordering from countries outside the EU, additional customs duties, import taxes, and other fees may apply depending on the country and product category.
We apply delivery terms DAP (Delivery at place), which means the buyer is responsible for any import duties, VAT, and other fees when the goods arrive in the country.
Customs duties on diamonds and jewelry are often free or very low, but please contact your local service authorities for questions about current costs.

Payment methods: We accept card payments (Visa/Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay), Apple Pay, GooglePay, and in some countries, we also offer invoice or partial payment via Klarna.

Shipping costs: When purchasing in our webshop, you choose the shipping option yourself, and any shipping cost is automatically added at checkout.
We apply delivery terms DAP (Delivery at place), which means the buyer is responsible for import duties, VAT, and other fees when the goods arrive in the country.

Gift cards
Gift cards in our webshop are purchased and paid for like other products and can only be used as a payment option in our webshop. (Not in the store in Visby, Gotland, Sweden). When purchasing with a gift card in our webshop, you can, however, choose the option Pick up in store.


Price changes
Prices may change without prior notice. The price stated at the time of payment applies, but we reserve the right for any obvious pricing errors. In the latter case, you will be contacted before the order is processed to approve the correct price or cancel the purchase.
Any price changes do not affect already placed orders but only apply to future purchases.

Engagement & wedding rings - Size changes
When purchasing engagement & wedding rings from us, one size adjustment per ring is included. The condition is valid within 3 months from the received ring and applies to both 18k rose gold and 18k white gold.

Plain rings
The free size adjustment may be a maximum of 0.5 (half) size, whether it is to increase or decrease the size.

Rings with stone setting
The free size adjustment may be a maximum of 0.25 (quarter) size, whether it is to increase or decrease the size.

If the size adjustment is more than this, we charge a fee of SEK 1500, regardless of whether it means we need to produce a completely new ring or if the adjustment can be made on the existing ring.
If the size adjustment means we have to produce a new ring, it may affect the delivery time for the adjustment.

The price for size adjustment applies to newly purchased rings and within 3 months. For other size adjustments on rings, please contact us for more price information.

Engagement & Wedding Rings - Engraving
When ordering engagement & wedding rings from us, we offer free engraving that can be utilized up to one year after purchase.

  • Order with ring: In connection with your order, it is a great advantage if you have decided on the engraving. This facilitates the production chain and thus allows us to deliver your ring faster.

  • Order afterwards: You can submit a ring for engraving even afterwards, but then you should expect a delivery time of up to approx. 2–4 weeks depending on the type of ring, other workflows, etc.

  • Right of return: When choosing engraving, a cost of SEK 1500 will be added to return your ring. Since engraving implies a personal touch, an engraved ring actually falls outside the right of withdrawal, but we have chosen to offer the possibility to return it for a cost of SEK 1500.

 

4. Shipping & Delivery


We do our utmost to ensure that your order reaches you as quickly as possible, always with a focus on quality and sustainability.

Within Sweden

Orders within Sweden are sent with PostNord.

All our shipping options are traceable.
When your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a unique tracking number so you can track your delivery via the PostNord App or website.

Delivery & Shipping Options

  • Registered letter (Domestic registered mail). 115 SEK
    Traceable and insured up to 10,000 SEK. Delivery to postal agent and signed for by the recipient with identification. A safe and secure shipping option.

  • Registered letter Extra (Domestic registered mail Extra) 250 SEK
    Traceable and insured up to 25,000 SEK. Delivery to postal agent and signed for by the recipient with identification. A safe and secure shipping option.

  • Value: 500 SEK (Free shipping for order values over 25,000 SEK)
    Partially traceable and insured up to 50,000 SEK. The shipment is only handed out against signature and presentation of valid identification, at one of PostNord's business centers or via rural mail carrier. Note! Not a postal agent. It must be signed for by the recipient or by an agent who has received a power of attorney.
    An extra safe and secure shipping option for orders over 25,000 SEK. This option is not available as a shipping option in the webshop's checkout. If this shipping option is to be used, written or oral contact and agreement between the Customer and Annika Gustavsson Jewelry's customer service will take place.

  • Varubrev (1st Class). 49 SEK
    Traceable but not insured. Nordic Swan Ecolabel certified option with delivery to the recipient's mailbox. If the Varubrev does not fit in the mailbox, it will be redirected to the nearest agent. (We have chosen to use the additional service "Mailbox only" for this shipping option. Otherwise, the package will be hung on the door if it does not fit in the mailbox, which we want to avoid for these types of products).

  • Pick up in store: Free of charge
    When your order is ready, you will receive an email that it is ready for pickup. You pick up your order at your convenience during the store's opening hours.

 

Return shipping:
For returns, the Customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise agreed in dialogue with our customer service. Depending on the type of return and product, there are two options for return shipping. Primarily, we choose the shipping option Registered Return.
Always contact our customer service before making your return.

  • Registered letter - Return (Registered Return) 150 SEK
    Traceable and insured. The recipient can easily return shipments using a QR code or a pre-paid return shipping label. The package is dropped off at a PostNord agent.

  • Varubrev Return: 50 SEK
    Traceable but not insured. The recipient can easily return shipments using a QR code or a pre-paid return shipping label. The package is dropped off at a PostNord agent or mailbox.

Delivery time

Collections
Normal delivery time within Sweden is 2–4 working days for all shipping options, provided the item is in stock. Our goal is to pack your order within 1-2 working days from receiving your order. Since our store and workshop are located on Gotland, delivery times may be affected by transportation to and from the island location.

Made-to-order items
Estimated delivery for made-to-order items such as engagement and wedding rings is normally approx. 4-8 weeks, depending on the type of ring.
Plain rings normally take approx. 4 weeks, while models with set gemstones can take up to 8 weeks depending on material choice and design.

Delivery during high season: During high season (June, July, August), delivery may take slightly longer. This applies primarily to our made-to-order items.

Outside Sweden
Orders outside Sweden are sent with PostNord. PostNord cooperates with local postal operators in the recipient country.

Tracking your package:
When your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email or SMS with a unique tracking number so you can track your delivery.

    Traceable and insured up to 520 Euro. The shipment is signed for by the recipient with identification. A safe and secure shipping option.

  • PostNord Servicepoint (EU): 249 SEK
    Traceable and insured up to 520 Euro. The shipment is signed for by the recipient with identification. A safe and secure shipping option.

  • Tracked letter: 150 SEK
    Traceable but not insured. Delivery point varies depending on the recipient country.
  • International Parcel (outside EU): 289 SEK
    Traceable and insured up to 520 Euro. The shipment is signed for by the recipient with identification. A safe and secure shipping option.

Return shipping (outside Sweden):
For returns, the Customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise agreed in dialogue with our customer service. Always contact our customer service before making your return.

  • Tracked Return letter: 150 SEK

Delivery time (Outside Sweden)

Collections
Delivery time varies depending on the recipient country, but within the Nordic countries and Europe (EU), the normal delivery time is 2–6 working days for all shipping options, provided the item is in stock.

Made-to-order items
Estimated delivery for made-to-order items such as engagement and wedding rings is normally approx. 4-8 weeks, depending on the type of ring.
Plain rings normally take approx. 4 weeks, while models with set gemstones can take up to 8 weeks depending on material choice and design.

Delivery during high season: During high season (June, July, August), delivery may take slightly longer. This applies primarily to our custom-ordered items.

Unclaimed packages

For packages not collected from the specified pickup point, a fee of SEK 249 will be charged. This corresponds to the costs incurred by PostNord for returning the package to us.
The order will then be handled as a return, and the fee will be deducted from the order amount.

Delayed or damaged deliveries

Annika Gustavsson Jewelry is not responsible for delays that occur after the item has been handed over to the shipping company.

We reserve the right to not be held responsible for any delays from our production and suppliers which we cannot control and which are beyond our control.

If the outer packaging is damaged, do not accept the package or contact us or the postal agent immediately. 

If anything in the shipment is missing or damaged when you open the shipment, this must be reported to us as soon as possible. 

Annika Gustavsson Jewelry sends a delivery confirmation to the email address you provided when placing your order at the same time we ship your order.  If the package is lost during transit, you must notify our customer service within a reasonable time, meaning as soon as possible if you suspect a lost package.

Delivery terms B2B
Ex works = The buyer bears the shipping costs and risk thereafter. 
Annika Gustavsson Jewelry fulfills its delivery obligation when the item is available for collection/shipment from our warehouse.

5. Special orders

Special orders refer to jewelry and rings outside our standard range. By standard range, we mean products available for purchase on our website.
Add-ons and adjustments that affect the original design mean that the product is considered a special order. The price of wedding rings and uniquely crafted jewelry may vary depending on material choice and design. For special orders, we start manufacturing the jewelry only after you have approved the quote and completed the purchase. Since the item takes on a personal character, the right of withdrawal does not apply to special orders.  The exemption from the right of withdrawal applies according to Section 11 of the Act (2005:59) on Distance Contracts.

However, the right to complain also applies to special orders. 

 

6. Product information and responsibility


Annika Gustavsson Jewelry is not responsible for delays or damages due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure). Exonerating circumstances include, but are not limited to, government action or inaction, new or amended legislation, labor disputes, blockades, fires, floods, sabotage, major accidents, or other types of natural disasters. Force majeure also includes government decisions that negatively affect the market and products, e.g., restrictions on indication, warning texts, sales bans, etc., abnormal market downturns, and if the company is subjected to criminal activity that affects operations.

In case of incorrect information or price, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
We also reserve the right to sell out of items in our assortment and to make changes to the assortment, and have the right to remove items from the assortment before a purchase has been completed.

  • Images: We try to reproduce our jewelry as accurately as possible, but color and shade differences may occur depending on the screen and photographic lighting.
    Some gemstones may vary in color and shade as they are natural products.

  • Reservation for errors: We reserve the right to correct obvious price errors and other inaccuracies in product information. If a price clearly deviates from what is reasonable, we may adjust the price. In such a case, you will be contacted before the order is processed to approve the correct price or cancel the purchase.

  • Product defects: We are responsible for original manufacturing defects, meaning the defect existed before the product was purchased or delivered. 
    The assessment of whether the product has an original defect is made by Annika Gustavsson Jewelry, and if the defective product has an original defect, it will be rectified by us free of charge to the customer within the timeframe for the right of complaint.

Annika Gustavsson Jewelry primarily has the right to offer repair or redelivery if this can be done within a reasonable time and without any additional costs for the Customer.

7. Right of withdrawal, returns & complaints

  • Right of withdrawal: When you shop in our webshop, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal for products available in our webshop. The period is counted from the day you received the order.
    See special conditions for Special orders and Exceptions.

    By law, you as a customer have a 14-day right of withdrawal, but we have chosen to extend the right of withdrawal to 30 days.

  • Conditions for return: The right of withdrawal applies to unused products returned in their original new condition and original packaging. You have the right to handle the item to determine its characteristics and function, but if the item has been used more than necessary, a deduction may be made from the refund.
    Please include a receipt or other proof of purchase. The customer bears the return shipping cost unless otherwise agreed, and the amount will be deducted upon refund.
    Always contact info@annikagustavsson.se before making a return.
    Returns sent without prior request for return will not be accepted.

  • Refund: Once we have received and inspected the return, we will notify you if the refund is approved. Upon approved return, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 14 business days. If you have not received the money within 15 business days after an approved return, please contact us.

  • Exceptions: The following products are not covered by the right of withdrawal:

    • Gift cards. 

    • Special orders. If a customer cancels their purchase during manufacturing, we reserve the right to charge for incurred costs for labor and materials, calculated on a case-by-case basis. For already manufactured jewelry, the right of withdrawal does not apply. 

    • Engagement & Wedding Rings
      The right of return does not apply if sizing or other adjustments have been made that affect the original design. 

    • Engraving: If you choose engraving, a cost of SEK 1500 will be added to return your ring. Since engraving implies a personal touch, an engraved ring technically falls outside the right of withdrawal, but we have chosen to offer the option of returning it for a fee of SEK 1500.


Exchanges: If you wish to exchange for another piece of jewelry, return the original item according to our return procedures and place a new order.

Damages & complaints: Check the item immediately upon receipt. If it is damaged or faulty, contact us immediately and we will send a new product or carry out a repair depending on the type of damage or fault.

According to the Consumer Sales Act, you always have a 3-year right to complain about all our products, including special orders. In the event of a complaint, we ask you to report it within a reasonable time to ensure smooth handling. 2 months from the discovery of the defect is considered a reasonable time.

What is covered by the right of complaint

Manufacturing and material defects: A clear production defect that has affected durability or appearance.

What is not covered by the right of complaint

Normal wear and tear: Scratches or other signs of normal use are not covered by the right of complaint. 

Improper use: Damage caused by not following care instructions, or by negligence, is not covered by the right of complaint. Read our care instructions here.

Accidents: Damage caused by an accident, e.g., the jewelry breaking if you drop it, is not covered by the right of complaint.


Engagement & wedding
For our engagement and wedding rings, we provide a lifelong warranty against manufacturing and material defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, alterations made by another goldsmith, accidents, or improper handling.
For the warranty to be valid, the jewelry must be inspected and checked once a year after your purchase. For the first three years, the store covers the cost of the inspection. After that, you are responsible for the cost yourself. The warranty does not cover re-rhodium plating of white gold jewelry. 

In the event of a complaint, we primarily have the right to offer repair if this can be done within a reasonable time and without any additional costs for the Customer.


8. Dispute Resolution

Complaints and comments regarding Annika Gustavsson Jewelry's services and products should be communicated to our customer service at info@annikagustavsson.se or by phone: +46730-60 60 77. In case of any dispute, we also seek assistance from the industry organization Jewelry and Watches to ensure that we handle the matter according to industry standards. 
If you are not satisfied with our handling of your case, you can contact your local consumer advisor or the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. Telephone: 08-508 860 00
You can also use the EU Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
We follow ARN's recommendations in the event of a dispute.

9. GDPR & COOKIES

Annika Gustavsson Jewelry needs to store and process your personal data, such as name, address, email, and phone number. The purpose of such processing is to be able to provide the services you have requested from us. The legal basis for processing your personal data is the consent you have given when interacting with us (accepted our terms and conditions). Your data will be stored as long as it is relevant to the individual case and we have fulfilled our commitment.
We care about customer privacy and will not disclose confidential information to unauthorized parties. However, we may need to disclose information to authorities if there is suspicion of a crime or if otherwise required by law.
Customers have the right to request that incorrect data be corrected, blocked, or deleted. Customers can also, at any time, notify in writing that they do not wish to receive direct marketing.

The website uses cookies to improve the user experience, analyze traffic, and personalize content. By using the website, you agree to our use of cookies in accordance with our privacy policy.

These terms and conditions may be updated as needed. Any changes will be published on this page and will apply from the time they are posted. We recommend that you read the terms and conditions before each purchase.
